Ranger - Creature Knowledge

Ranger - Creature Knowledge will now show additional information when you examine a creature depending on the value of the Creature Knowledge (CK) stat. Rangers will earn a base value of 40 CK in Phase 1 of their skill tree. They will earn a base value of 70 in Phase 2, 90 in Phase 3, and earn 100 in Phase 4 (master CL.90). The Ranger can earn an additional [5 + 5 + 5 + 10] or +25 more within the Frontiersman expertise tree.

Ranger Details

Rangers are the galaxy's premier trackers and survivalists, blending unparalleled wilderness expertise with lethal precision. Armed with a rifle, the Ranger operates as a solitary hunter, focusing on stealth and devastating single-target ranged damage. By deploying a tactical kit of roots, snares, and advanced traps like the Wire Mesh and Glow Wire, they dictate the flow of combat and ensure their target never gets close enough to strike back.

While their pinpoint damage is exceptional, a true Ranger knows that facing multiple enemies in open crossfire is a death sentence. Instead, they rely on their deep mastery of concealment to slip away, retreating into the shadows to recover and re-engage from a superior vantage point.

 

Ranger Profession Quests

Welcome to the wilds! The Ranger profession represents the ultimate mastery over nature, tracking, and survival. As a Ranger, you will embark on a series of trials to prove your worth against the galaxy's most formidable beasts.

How to Start

You can begin your journey by using the Profession Quest Item granted to you in your inventory upon reaching the required skill milestones (Phases 1, 2, and 3).

Phase 1: The First Hunt (Level 10)

• Location: Tatooine
• Objective: Track down and eliminate the dangerous Worrts threatening the local settlements. Prove your basic tracking skills to the Master Ranger.

Phase 2: Protecting the Wilds (Level 20)

• Location: Corellia
• Objective: The wilds of Corellia are being overrun by aggressive Bagerasets. Cull their numbers to restore the natural balance.

Phase 3: Apex Predator (Level 30)

• Location: Talus
• Objective: Your final test. Face off against the deadly Dalyrakes. Only the most skilled Rangers survive this encounter.

The Master Ranger

After completing the objectives for each phase, you must seek out the Master Ranger, located in the city of Moenia on Naboo (Waypoint: 4782, 4174). Speak with them to receive your reward and acknowledgement of your skills. May the wilds be with you!
